How are the poems “written”?
The poems are “told” to Yasmine by her son – he doesn’t write them all down yet, but is currently learning how to read and write

Are the poems edited?
Children can be very specific about their words and Yasmine’s son asks her to read them back to him, to confirm and correct anything that might have “gone wrong”
